EQUIPMENT

The Briquette production compex consists of:

1. Preliminary works plant.

The raw material is submited to preliminary treatment (crushing and grinding to dcp 2,35/2,80 mm). The stock is transfered from "Troyanovo - 1" to "Troyanovo - 3" mines and is placed into raw coal bunkers via railway.

Raw lignite coal shows following technical and economical characters: Wtr (water) - 59%, Qrj (heat capacity) - 1650 kcal/kg, Ad (ash content) - to 25%, Str (sulfur) - 4,5%.

Main equipment and units in the preliminary works plant consist of: 4 blade crushers, 2 roll crushers (propeller), 2 hammer crushers for middle - grained crushing, 12 hammer crushers for fine - grained crushing, 21 double acting sifts, 5 motionless 5 rubberized conveyors, breakers etc.

2. Main production plant.

Main operating process is accomplished here-drying, crushing, size control, pressing in order to shape the material into briquettes. Main equipment and units in this plant are: 24 drum driers with steam parameters - P - 44 ata T - 185 ^oC, 24 electric filters, 48 briquette presses, 8 hammer crushers, dust catching devices, chain conveyors, feed wheels etc.

3. Transporting shop.

The shop is the place where chippings are transported, cooled and separated from briquettes but the briquettes are truck loaded into carriages or truck. Main equipment consists of wire cooling conveyors, ranging units, 26 scales to weigh out the production, dust catching devices, rubberized conveyors, breakers and other units.

The Briquettes production plant includes several auxiliary shops:

- maitenance shaping shop - maintain and replace the briquette presses shaping units using grinding machine, welding, machines etc for its purposes.

- toal maker's and mainenance shop - a shop planned to maintain and repair drum driers, dust catching propellers and to work out billet serving diverse machinery in the plant.

- repairing shop - planned to work out and repair needed replacement units, details and spare parts.

Main equipment consists of lathes, mills, horizontal boring machine metal planer, vertical shaper, drilling machines etc.

The power supply to briquette production site is realized via 4 leading - in wire (6 kV) coming from the neighbouring electricity production site. Five substantions (6 or 0,4 kV) feed the machines and equipment. Main units consist of high voltage distributors etc.

The steam supply to briquette production site is also realized from the electricity production site via 4 steam leads and the waste steam is recycled after the drum driers.
